This Privacy and Data Protection Policy describes the policies and procedures of CVCosmos (‘’we’’, ‘’our’’, ‘’us’’) regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information on the site and the products, services, features, content, or applications we offer (the ‘’Services’’). By using our Services, you are completely and unconditionally consenting to the collection, transfer, storage, modification, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in the current Privacy and Data Protection Policy.

1). What does this Privacy and Data Protection Policy cover?

This Privacy and Data Protection Policy covers the treatment of your personally identifiable information (personal information) gathered when you are using or accessing our Site and Services. In particular it sets out the types of personal data we collect about you, it illustrates how and why we collect and use your personal data, it clarifies when and with who we will share your personal data and it explains the rights and options you have about your personal data. This Privacy and Data Protection Policy exists to clarify and protect your rights whilst you use our Services. It does not apply to the practices of Third Parties that we do not own or control.

2). What information do we collect?

For the successful delivery of the Services provided by CVCosmos, we require certain personal data from the users. These data are details that facilitate customer service and communication with you, when necessary.

More specifically, we collect and store the following data:

A). Personally identifiable information, including the full name of the users, subscriptions, e-mail address, users address and phone number, date of birth and full CV details (if the user has submitted his CV to CVCosmos for the purposes of career map and job matching services). Apart from the data provided directly by you, we also collect public information about you through the publicly available sources of Linkedin and social media, and other information relating only to your name, address, age, sex and telephone number.

B). Non-personally identifiable information such as your IP address and other information collected automatically, including Cookies.

3). How do we use your personal information?

Our company will preserve and process the personal information willingly provided by the users for their registration, and for the purchase of products/services.

By using our Site and agreeing with our Terms Of Use, you unconditionally consent that CVCosmos has the right to share your personal information with the associated parties (Universities and Job recruiters) in order to provide you with university services or intervies for jobs that you have applied for through our website. We will also use your personal information to communicate with you, only when necessary (see below no.5 for more details).

CVCosmos is in the business of providing services, not selling data. Therefore, we will not share any personal information apart from your CV. This will be done only after you have applied for a specific job, and your CV will be shared exclusively with the affiliated employer.

4). What other information do we share with your consent?

Apart from the aforementioned use of your personal information that is inherently required for our Services, we may share Aggregate Information with Universities. This is anonymous information about groups or categories of users which cannot be used to identify an individual user.

We also reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information that we reasonably believe is necessary to: (i) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, (ii) enforce this Privacy and Data Protection Policy, including investigation of potential violations hereof, (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, (iv) respond to users requests, or (v) protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, of CVCosmos Ltd and of the public. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and spam/malware prevention.

Except as set forth above, you will be notified when your Personal Information may be shared with third parties, and you will be able to prevent the sharing of this information.

5). How and when we will get in contact with you?

For general issues (account issues, CV inaccuracies etc.) CVCosmos will get in contact with you via e-mail. We will not use the provided phone number, unless in an emergency situation.

6). Your rights in relation to the collection of your personal data by our company

The users are entitled, at any moment, to ask to have access to all information and files related to their personal data. They are also entitled to demand from CVCosmos to delete all the aforementioned files related to their personal data, provided that there is no active or pending payment subscription contract between both parties. Additional rights of the users are:

• the right to be informed, in other words the right to be provided with clear, transparent and easily understandable information about how we use your information and your rights. This is why we’re providing you with the information in this Policy.
• the right to have your information corrected if it’s inaccurate or incomplete.
• the right to withdraw your consent for the use of your personal data at any time

In CVCosmos we make every possible effort and take all the necessary measures to ensure the lawful and secure collection, redistribution (only in the cases described above), transfer and storage of the recorded personal data.

Please note that if our Company is acquired, sold, or dissolved, its assets, including personally identifiable information we may possess about you, may, in whole or in part, be sold, disposed of, transferred, divested, or otherwise disclosed as part of the transaction or proceeding. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and any acquirer may continue to use your Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
